DOXX customs port Mainz

    Schlagwörter /

The basic idea behind the design is the special shape of the building and the fact that the apartments are raised to the upper storeys. This arrangement allows for great views in all directions, creates ideal lighting and maximises the distance to the buildings opposite. A transparent pedestal with catering and retail establishments contributes to making the building, which is surrounded by water on three sides, part of a lively urban culture. The design, the double X structure, makes the building special. The reference to the shape is also reflected in the name “DOXX”, which is also reminiscent of the word “docks”.
